374 - Heat Wave!
So this week has been extra extra hot. Naturally, I *really* wanted to spin on Beatrice.
Thank god for central air, I was able to do it!
This was my first time working with Blue Faced Leicester (BFL and the L is pronounced "lester") and it is really soft. I was pleasantly surprised. Having been inspired by Jenn's Jacob wool earlier, I wanted to ply it. However, I am not skilled enough to make wool that skinny. Know what is that skinny though? Crochet cotton thread.
It's currently outside drying. Once it's all dry I'm thinking it will make an excellent pair of super warm mittens!
