So Etsy rolled out an awesome new feature. We were able to "rename" our shops.
So now the URL for The Dame's Jewelry Box is http://DamesJewelryBox.etsy.com
And the new URL for the Fibre Fun Emporium is http//FibreEmporium.etsy.com

This week's treasury is tattoo inspired! Check out all the awesomeness from the Attack of the Craft Team!
Hello darlings! I hope your weekend is treating you well thus far.
Yesterday as I was spinning I had an idea for my next yarn and ran to the studio to make the batts.
I present to you Kitchen Sink Pink:
Till next time,
This week's Attack of the Craft treasury is Stars! I love stars! Be sure to click on the picture to be taken to the treasury so you can explore the items!
Check out this super cute ring I bought on Etsy!
A few weeks ago I saw this on the front page of Etsy by I'm Your Present. I simply HAD to have it. When it arrived, it was nicely packaged and she included candy. Who doesn't love candy?
My son especially loves this ring. The first day I wore it he kept kissing and hugging it. I felt like the Godfather lol.
With my income tax refund (okay, Paul's income tax refund) I got an Ashford drum carder and jumbo flyer for my spinning wheel. What great purchases those were! The first batt I made on my carder was this:
I spun it and plied it on my fancy new flyer and now I have this totally awesome, fun yarn!
Now I get to figure out what I'm going to make with this because I love it too much to sell.
This week's CraftAnon Treasury is classic black and white!
Remember to click the picture to be taken to the actual treasury so you can browse through all the awesome!
So if you've been paying attention, most Tuesdays I do Treasury Tuesdays here on the blog. I always feature people from the CraftAnon Team. But what is the CraftAnon Team? We are a bunch of super awesome folks from Attack of the Craft.
Attack of the Craft is a web forum where awesome crafters and lovers of awesome crafters mingle together. We don't just talk about crafts either. You can share recipes, makeup tips, even vent about your day. They are an awesome group of friends that I am really glad that I found.
So today's treasury theme is hearts, because I'm mushy that way :P
So this morning, my darling Pauly started up the Official Geekopolis Blog! You should follow it because it's going to be epic!
So if you may or may not remember that last year I took part in The Soper Creek Yarn Challenge. This year I did it again!
So one of the challenges this month was Polytech. We had to use more than one skill to make something awesome.
First, I took some yellow roving:
Then I needle-felted it and added black for eyes:
The next challenge I did for Nerd Wars was In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb. We had to make an animal. I made a lemming!
You can also buy him over at Geekopolis! Think how jealous your friends would be!
One of the challenges this month is Capillary Action.
\For those of you who are like WTF?
"Capillary action is responsible for moving groundwater from wet areas of the soil to dry areas, creating that pesky meniscus when measuring liquids for cooking or science projects, and what Bounty tries to maximize to be the quicker picker upper. It is the ability of liquid to flow against gravity. It is one of the qualities that makes water a unique compound."
I made a Snow Pea Shooter from the amazing Plants vs. Zombies!
The Clay Pony:
Kiss Me Designs:
For my final Nerd Wars project for February, the theme was Nerd Culture. We had to make something that could be found at a convention.
I present to you my Mog headband! Kupo!
I can't wait to see what March holds for Nerd Wars!
My Yoshi Mittens are all done!
