Show and Tell

With my income tax refund (okay, Paul's income tax refund) I got an Ashford drum carder and jumbo flyer for my spinning wheel. What great purchases those were! The first batt I made on my carder was this:

It's a mix of polworth from Crafty Puppy Lover, milk fibre from Wabi Sabi and a red firestar from Wind Rose Studio.
I spun it and plied it on my fancy new flyer and now I have this totally awesome, fun yarn!

Now I get to figure out what I'm going to make with this because I love it too much to sell.

What next?

Congrats on getting your own drum carder. It's so cool to be able to design your own wool batts. I know you'll love it!

Your first skein with your new tools is awesome. When I first saw it, I was reminded of one of my own yarns that I called "Twisted Love". I think it was the name that sold it. lol!

    Beautiful spinning!
